A note from Annie, curator of the Good Rug: "A faded beauty, this type of rug is a rarity to find these days. The soft and muted palette would work well in nearly every room!"
The Boujad rug comes from the Haouz region of Morocco, an area in the middle Atlas mountains. As with all rugs, the rug represents the weaver, where her story is expressed in vibrant geometric patterns, and varying colors, often pinks, reds, and purples. These rugs are increasingly rare and difficult to find, as their popularity has soared in recent years.
